I really enjoy walking around lakes in the no moon night. If I am lucky, I can see falling stars there. I had seen 7 falling stars in Carbondale. I hope my wishes come true...
Because the night is dark, we can see all stars in the sky.

  My Aruba Trip I always waned to go to Aruba and I dreamed about this amazing island located in South America very close to my country, Venezuela. So I wanted to see the island and most importantly, the beaches. I had heard about the popular street before, you can find the mall and see so many stores. My family and I were so excited about the trip, and we made a lot of plans for it.

When the day to travel finally came, we woke up so early. I don't think anybody slept that night, just waiting until the morning to get on the airplane. So, the next morning we got the flight and arrived in Aruba.

The first time I saw Aruba from the airport I said this is a good place, but when we went to the resort called "La Cabana" and we walked inside, we were surprised because we didn't expect such a wonderful resort. But that wasn't all, I couldn't wait to get to the beach, so I left my suitcase and went there so fast with my sister, because she couldn't wait either. "I can't believe I'm here", I said to myself, it really was a paradise, so beautiful, just perfect...

We were in this popular street and went shopping, even though it was so expensive. All the clothes were expensive. Some days we went to eat outside the resort, but I think everyone preferred to stay in the resort, because there you could enjoy everything such as the pool, the music, the beach and the food. I also met people who were kind. I really liked them. At night they performed traditional music, and you could go to the dance and drink at the bar. Another thing that makes Aruba famous is the casinos. There are a lot of these.

Now I understand why a lot of people go there every year. We had high expectations about Aruba, and we were right.
